For those providers who use the Empire BlueCross BlueShield secure portal to submit their claims, effective September 16, 2011, due to changes in the 5010 guidelines the direct claims submission function will no longer be available. So that you can continue to submit your claims electronically free of charge, we are partnering with MD On-Line, Inc., a leading national clearinghouse, to offer professional providers the ability to exchange secure HIPAA-compliant transactions with Empire BlueCross BlueShield through a web-based suite of services – at no charge. The only requirement for professional providers is a personal computer with Internet access.

If you have access to the web and want an easier way to submit your insurance claims, then look no further than WebLink™. WebLink™ is a browser-based solution and is extremely user-friendly. With WebLink™, MD On-Line is offering a special "All-Payer" promotion whereas you can send all of your insurance claims electronically for 30 days free of charge. WebLink™ works in conjunction with your existing Practice Management Software by allowing you quick and easy upload of the files it creates. The transfer is 100% secure. In addition, WebLink™ provides you with thorough reports on the status of your claims.
LINK1500™ is the easiest way for providers without Practice Management Software to submit insurance claims. This Internet-based, user friendly application allows you to complete an online version of the CMS1500 form and submit it electronically. MD On-Line is offering a special "All-Payer" promotion whereas you can send all of your insurance claims electronically for 30 days free of charge. In addition, LINK1500™ provides you with detailed reports on the status of your claim submissions.
Fast and Easy Registration:
Registration takes only a few minutes, and you can begin submitting claims immediately*. When you register for either product, you will be asked to provide some basic information about your practice including name, address, phone numbers, and a contact name. We will also need your practice's Tax ID or the registrant's SSN to identify your account. If you register for WebLink™, a brief test of your file format will be necessary prior to live claim submission, but this is often completed within one day.
