As we strive to provide technical advantages that will enable trading partners to conduct business with us more effectively, we are in the process of migrating current NY trading partners to the single Enterprise Gateway platform. In alignment with the 5010 compliance date of 1/1/12, all NY trading partners will have transitioned to exchange electronic transactions as part of the Enterprise. Welcome letters were mailed on
August 30, 2010. Follow up letters with "What's Changing Document" were mailed on
October 29, 2010.
We are pleased to provide a page dedicated to communications specific to 5010. Visit this page frequently as updates are made to help you prepare for the compliance date of 1/1/2012.
Due to the nature of the outbound flow for the 835 transaction from Empire to the trading partner, 5010 testing will be handled separately. End-to-end and parallel testing are not available, and claim input is not required. Trading partners will be required to
download a sampling of 835 test files for review. It is imperative that you contact us with your testing status in order to complete the migration to production.
In order to facilitate better communication, coordination, and collaboration for the testing, migration, and deployment phases for 5010, we had asked that all EDI trading partners complete our readiness survey by December 1, 2010. We valued your input and strive to improve our existing communication process.
