Free Substance Use Resource Center Now Available To OhioansJanuary 06, 2020
If you or a family member suffers from a substance use disorder, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio is here to help. Anthem’s customer service center is as close as the phone number on your member ID card and is a great confidential resource for programs, services and benefits related to substance use disorder. As an additional resource, Anthem supports using the recently-launched Substance Use Resource Center to help you find the trusted information and support you need – close to home.
By calling the Substance Use Resource Center at 833-959-HELP (4357) or visiting https://takechargeohio.ohio.gov/Get-Help, you will be connected to appropriate, quality-based resources in your community. These resources will include facilities and care providers that have been rigorously evaluated and awarded with a Blue Distinction® Designation for Substance Use Treatment and Recovery, including providers offering medication-assisted therapy. Blue Distinction Centers® are nationally designated facilities that demonstrate a commitment to improving patient safety and health.
