An Important Update Regarding Durable Medical Equipment Suppliers
EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2003, EMPIRE IS UPDATING OUR NETWORK OF DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS.

Members with a precertification requirement, who have been using a previously included supplier, have been contacted by an Empire Medical Management Case Manager. Case Managers are transitioning fewer than 800 members directly impacted by this change to one of our participating suppliers. This transition will be made in a timely manner, and will not affect their benefits or access to services.

Get Your Recredentialing
Letters Faster

In order for you to receive your recredentialing letters faster, Empire will now be faxing them to you, instead of sending them by mail. Please be on the lookout for other service improvements in the upcoming months.

Introducing Empire's NEW Small Group Broker Bonus Program!
Sell a minimum of 35 Empire Small Group contracts between May 1, 2003, and December 31, 2003*, and receive the following:
  • Get a $20 Bonus for each of the first 35 contracts.
  •  
  • Get a $20 Bonus for each additional contract.
To qualify, sell any combination of Empire Medical and Dental plans totaling 35 contracts.

HERE'S HOW TO QUALIFY:
1 Empire Medical = 1 Contract
1 Empire Dental = ¼ Contract

For example:
    30 Medical (30 Contracts)
+ 20 Dental (5 Contracts)
= 35 Contracts!

This means that once you've qualified, you'll receive $20 for every medical plan that you sell, and $5 for every dental plan.
