Check on Your Mental Health with a Free Online Screening

April 19, 2021

While COVID-19 has affected the physical health of millions around the world, the pandemic has also had an impact on our collective mental health. In fact, 4 in 10 adults in the United States report symptoms of anxiety or depression.* Your mental health matters to us, so we’ve made it easier to check how you’re feeling and find support.

Free mental health screenings online

Through an Anthem Foundation grant, we have partnered with Mental Health America (MHA) to offer you access to anonymous and confidential mental health screenings online. MHA Screening provides free mental health screenings for a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, postpartum depression, and addiction. You don’t have to enter any personal information to complete a screen and it only takes a couple minutes. At the end, you receive results that can help you better understand your mental health, customized educational resources to explore with more information, and recommendations for next steps.

Don’t hesitate to use this support

Oftentimes, dealing with mental health issues can feel scary. It may be hard to know who to tell, how to cope, or where to go for help. MHA Screening can put a name to what you’re feeling and guide you to articles, videos, organizations, and other resources that can help. Please know, you are not alone.
