Help for members affected by the Boston Marathon incident

At Empire BlueCross BlueShield, we’re deeply saddened by Monday’s incident at the Boston Marathon. We offer heart-felt support and condolences to those affected, and their families.  
We also know that these kinds of incidents can affect all of us — even if we weren’t directly involved, or know someone who was. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can offer support over the phone or online.  
In addition, on Wednesday April 17, the Anthem health plans in Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire announced they are making EAP services available to all members in those states, regardless of plan type, who are coping with the incident at the Boston Marathon. Members can reach EAP by calling 877-208-8240 or online at Log in using the word “Boston marathon.”
